Abstract
This study explores the role of financial inclusion in fostering economic growth within Sub-Saharan Africa, a region characterized by diverse economic landscapes and variable access to financial services. The objective is to determine the extent to which financial inclusion contributes to economic development, with a focus on three representative countries: Uganda, Kenya, and Lithuania. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research incorporates both quantitative data analysis and qualitative case studies to provide a comprehensive assessment. The findings reveal that increased access to financial services significantly correlates with improved economic performance, particularly in rural areas where traditional banking infrastructure is limited. The case studies further illustrate how mobile banking and microfinance initiatives have driven inclusive growth by empowering marginalized communities. However, the research also identifies challenges such as regulatory barriers and inadequate financial literacy that hinder optimal benefits. Concluding, the study advocates for policy interventions aimed at enhancing financial literacy and regulatory frameworks to support the integration of financial services into the broader economic strategy. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on achieving sustainable development goals through inclusive economic practices.
